In my hour of weakness, Lindi Ortega steps from the shadows with Little Red Boots, the Canadian songwriter’s latest album, which is set for release on October 21st.
Obsessed with the colour red, full of “chutzpah” (I love that word) and armed with songs as steeped in honky tonk as they are in country, Ms Ortega’s name is going to start popping up on a few radars after she plays upstairs in Whelan’s on October 14th.
