An Turas is a collection of personal blogs and entries looking at expanding the use of Gaeilge in the every day through the arts. From music reviews, news and interviews to links to learning material in the Irish language, this element of the low trees site is open to all. The trip is the most important part.

Background
Learning Irish has become an essential part of my life. I studied at school here in Ireland and did quite well in my final exam, so I was not a complete novice. Many of the foundations existed inside me somewhere but it has still been a significant undertaking. The next logical step was to incorporate Gaeilge into everyday life. So how would I go about doing so? And where would it sit? And so it occurred to me, why not examine and expand mo stór focal through music and the arts by creating a site within a site on low trees. So consider An Turas a Fever Ray/Breeders-type side-project.
