Mark Kozelek to Play Kilkenny
This one seemed to go under the radar but Mark Kozelek (of Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon) has announced a few European Tour Dates which includes a visit to St. Canice’s Cathedral in Kilkenny as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival.
The full tour, which kicks off in Helsinki on August 3rd, can be viewed over on the official site but Mark will play Kilkenny on Sunday, 14th August which will be his only Irish appearance this Summer.

Not that I have heard but they have not officially announced anything themselves (Above confirmed by Kozelek's official site) as of yet. It being June and all I would say an official confirmation and announcement should be soon.
