Clonakilty International Guitar Festival 15th-18th September 2011
The annual Clonakilty Guitar Festival strums into life tomorrow night (Thursday 15th September) with the legendary Roy Harper playing a live set in the just as legendary De Barra’s.
An outstanding four-day programme has been arranged for the mid-September festival with Doug Paisley (a highlight of End of the Road festival for me personally – check him out), Jukebox Gypsy (always a great live experience), We Cut Corners, Jape, LOWmountain, David Hope & The Henchmen, West Cork Ukulele Orchestra and Gary Lucas all taking to the stage in various venues around the town.
