I would like to say the appearance of this Cork man is due to the influence of working on The Cork Music Show over the past few months but I must admit I have had this album on the dusty-yet-trusty Creative Zen a long time before a microphone was put in front of my talkative face. Mojo really do give away some great compilations and New Harvest was of a particularly high quality. The theme of the magazine that edition was all based around Neil Young and the cd contained tracks from the young upstarts and contenders for Young’s throne featuring Fleet Foxes, Vetiver, Alela Diane, The Low Anthem and plenty more. The Dodo’s kicked the whole thing off, appearing on the first track with “Fools”.
