Bert Jansch
Extremely sad news. Legendary folkie and acoustic genius Bert Jansch has died.
The Scotsman’s late Summer shows were cancelled due to poor health and it has now been confirmed that the great man has succumbed to his illness at the age of 67.
Although he was sick for a time the news still comes as a shock especially seeing as Jansch only recently (July 24th) formed part of a bill containing Joanna Newsom and James Vincent McMorrow in Marley Park.
