Crawdaddy Gigs
Hello Moon really caught the eye at the end of 2011 (read short review of Twisted Pepper gig here) and waste no time getting back into the swing of things with the announcement of a headline gig in the Crawdaddy this Saturday (January 7th).
The bill is set to burst with Girl Band, The Notas, Hired Hands and The Alpaca Jamboree all playing sets on the night – presented by Dublin record label Any Other City I might add – working out at €1 per band. Cannot argue with that really can you?
Later in the month pop minstrels The Walpurgis Family launch second album and follow up to 2010’s Midsummer Party with help from fellow Popical Islander Jonny Fun and, most interestingly, Cork’s Boa Morte, the latter having been very quiet on the live front over the past year or two. A once-off maybe? Hopefully not. January 28th is the date for this one.
EDITED on 7th Jan to include the new single – ‘Let’s Go Camping’
