Weekly preview bumper sized special a comin’ up…
Divilment down Deer Farm way is the order of the bank holiday weekend as the 2013 edition of Indiependence sets up camp for three days of pop, indie, hip-hop, rock comedy and loads more. The line-up for the Mitchelstown music meet-up caters for all sorts of tastes this year with hip-hop pioneers De La Soul, U.K. chart-toppers Bastille and El Paso art-punks Bosnian Rainbows three of the big names on offer.
Further west will see long-term Björk collaborator and Bedroom Community founder Valgeir Sigurðsson play a one-off show in Abbeystrewry Church to close this year’s Skibbereen Arts Festival. Check back later in the week for an interview with the man himself.
