Alessi’s Ark arrives to save us from the rain…
It’s folk fatale this week as Cyprus Avenue hosts two incredibly gifted songwriters from opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Alessi Laurent-Marke aka Alessi’s Ark returns to Cork with new album The Still Life released earlier in the year. Check back in later in the week for a full interview with the young-yet-prolific Hammersmithian. Joining Alessi on the night will be the inimitable Cal Folger Day who plays her first show in Cork since playing a G-Man Presents… session (with Angel Olsen in the Half Moon) back in May.
