With a new EP on the way, the excitement building about Cork shoegazer Elastic Sleep is reaching fever pitch with a support slot for Belfast indie foursome Girls Names in The Pavilion on 5th April only announced yesterday.
Boldly blending shoegaze shapes and rock riffs with a pure pop chorus, ‘Leave You’ (the title track from the upcoming EP) is the perfect “let’s blow this joint” road-trip soundtrack, you can almost feel the tires thundering on the swollen tarmac when that pummelling bassline kicks in.
