Festival: Sounds From A Safe Harbour
Warm tides for Cork…
The National’s Bryce Dessner has been flicking through his little black book, rounding up a talented bunch of pals for a party in Cork Opera House this September as part of his carefully curated line-up. From 17th-20th September, the likes of The Gloaming, This Is How We Fly, Amiina, Valgeir Sigurðsson and more will descend upon Cork City for four days of fun in the Indian Summer sun (hopefully). Having been safely protected under lock and key for some time, The Irish Times broke the news earlier today with the same newspaper officially announcing the full line-up on 7th May.
UPDATE:
Until the details of the full line-up are fully refined, the list of events and artists confirmed has been removed. I’ll update this next week once the ‘t’s have been crossed and the ‘i’s dotted and the full announcement is ready to go.
