Bon Iver release new single AUATC
Bon Iver collaborate with Jenny Lewis, Jenn Wasner, Phil Cook & more to release new song AUATC.
Justin Vernon and Bon Iver yesterday released their second single of 2020, AUATC. Following on from PDLIF, available since May with proceeds directed towards frontline health workers, AUATC features guest contributions from an array of indie superstars including Jenny Lewis, Wye Oak‘s Jenn Wasner and Megafaun‘s Phil Cook. If you listen closely, you may even hear the gravelly tones of the bossman himself, Bruce Springsteen. An electro-coated feel-good anthem, watch the video for AUATC featuring the graceful glides of Randall Riley using the player below.
Support Social Justice
Accompanying the release of the new single are words of support for social justice, Bon Iver firmly planting their flag on the side of decency.
We are calling attention to the fight against capitalism and our collective participation in its dominant institutions. Bon Iver acknowledges our own position within and use of capitalistic practices. It is with recognition of our privilege that we are fully committed to using our unique platform to challenge and change capitalism within our industry, and far beyond.
