I’m Back (technically…..)

Sorry there has been no new posts since Friday but I headed up to Dublin to see the mighty Bobby D. Infamously a hit and miss performer, the Tuesday night in the O2 was definitely a direct hit with Mr Zimmerman pulling numbers such as Just Like a Woman, Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright, Like a Rolling Stone and an almost unidentifiable Blowin’ in the Wind out of the bag.

Once again impressed by the sound at the O2 but, as a friend said, you should not be able to buy popcorn at a Bob Dylan gig. Seriously, do we have to have food everywhere…..

Also a big shout out for Peter Broderick who played two super sets in Cork and Dublin (also two in Kilkenny but I did not make it to the Rhythm and Roots fest this year myself)
