Music on our TV This Week

With the arrival of When Under Ether to our screens last Tuesday I have decided to keep a track on some of the television highlights for the upcoming week on both Irish and UK channels.

Tuesday :

When Under Ether – RTE2 23:50

Episode 2 of the new alternative music show hosted by Michelle Doherty & Elton Mulally.

Later w/ Jools Holland – BBC2 10:00 or 23:20 (depending on channel)

The live version of the show. Guests include David Gray, Annie Lennox, The Decemberists, The Big Pink and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Wednesday :

11th Hour – RTE2 23:00

Music show hosted by Dave Fanning split between a guest choosing their favourite tracks and usually some archival footage. Catch up on old shows here.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks – BBC2 23:20

Comedy quiz show loosely based on music.

Friday :

Later w/ Jools Holland – BBC2 23:45

Same guests as Tuesday but more polished versions of the performances as well as interviews etc.. Guests include David Gray, Annie Lennox, The Decemberists, The Big Pink and Corinne Bailey Rae.
