Free Music Trail
The daylight is growing ever more reclusive but is there a sweeter spot than the dancing dream that is the inbetween of summer and autumn? And that’s where you’ll find Sounds From a Safe Harbour, taking place across multiple locations in Cork City this weekend. Focus of course will be on the big concerts happening at Cork Opera House, Cyprus Avenue and more, but dive into the detail and you’ll find a weekend’s worth of budget-friendly shows, courtesy of SFSH’s Free Music Trail.
Highlights include multi-instrumentalist and regular SFSH frequenter Shahzad Ismaili‘s appearance at O’Sho (Thursday); Tjara (a new Reykjavík-based collaboration between Francesco Fabris, Kjartan Holm, and Sin Fang) & guests presented by Icelandic label INNI at The Kino (Friday); Niamh Regan‘s instore appearance at MusicZone and Peter Broderick‘s intimate visit to Maureen’s (both Saturday); and David Kitt’s Sunday Surprise at The Pav (Sunday).
