The Last Dinner Party
The Last Dinner Party is an emerging indie band that originated in Brixton. Their captivating blend of guitar-driven music has attracted attention from major record labels, agents, promoters, and publishers. Inspired by Romantic poets and Gothic novelists, they embrace decadence and charm while exploring themes of beauty, sublimity, and the grotesque. Their eclectic sound draws influence from various genres and artists, ranging from Kate Bush and David Bowie to glam rock and new wave. Led by vocalist Abigail Morris, bassist Georgia Davies, keyboardist Aurora Nishevci and guitarists Lizzie Mayland and Emily Roberts, they create haunting melodies, explosive choruses, with a theatrical heft, which the band recently discussed with The Line of Best Fit.
Despite only a handful of singles out, the hype is building for a climactic end of Summer blow-out so whether you’ll be at Electric Picnic, End of the Road. According to those who’ve seen them live, shows can feel like a “night at the opera” one night, and “folk horror” on another. Wherever you’re planning on seeing them, expect a big crowd at The Last Dinner Party.
