TG4 to broadcast virtual 2020 Fleadh across 4 nights
Irish language television station TG4 will broadcast the 2020 Fleadh music festival across four nights from Thursday 6th August.
Follow the music! The 2020 edition of Ireland’s annual traditional music festival will go ahead, although this year An Fleadh Ceoil will be celebrated in a virtual format rather than together in Mullingar as previously planned. Irish language television station TG4 will broadcast four episodes across four days, from Thursday 6th August, culminating on Sunday 9th August.
Fleadh 2020 Musicians
The four 90-minute programmes are being recorded this week in a marquee on the grounds of Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar. Artists featured include low trees favourites Lisa O’Neill, Steve Cooney and Mick Flannery. The latter recently released Alive – Cork Opera House 2019, available now from Bandcamp.

Lean Leis An gCeol!
Leanfar le heagrán 2020 d’fhéile cheoil thraidisiúnta bhliantúil na hÉireann, cé go ndéanfar An Fleadh Ceoil a cheiliúradh i bhformáid fhíorúil i mbliana seachas le chéile sa Mhuileann gCearr mar a bhí beartaithe roimhe seo. Craolfaidh stáisiún teilifíse Gaeilge TG4 ceithre eipeasóid thar cheithre lá, ón Déardaoin 6 Lúnasa, ag críochnú Dé Domhnaigh 9 Lúnasa.
