Cork Gig Guide 6th-12th June
This week in Cork: Mitski, Eddie Vedder & more…
Empress of outsider rock Mitski Miyawaki makes her first bow in Cork this summer with the New Yorker bringing her brilliant brand of confessional indie to Caroline Street in early June. Having etched her candid thoughts into listeners’ minds with 2014’s ‘Bury Me At Makeout Creek’, the Dead Oceans artist returned last year with critically acclaimed record ‘Puberty 2’. A reminder of how effective the quiet-loud approach can be when guided by capable hands.
- Inni-K & poet Stephen James Smith in Gulpd (Thursday)
- Eddie Vedder live at the marquee (Sunday)
