Sunday 14th May’s Vinyl Love meet-up shifts the focus from the records to the repeal movement when 8 venues spread across Ireland & the U.K. invite 100+ DJs to spin some discs and actively support Repeal The 8th. Featuring sessions in Dublin, Galway, London, Manchester, Waterford, Sligo and Limerick, Cork heads can make their way on down to Gulpd Café for a particularly packed day featuring ELLLL, Elaine Howley (The Altered Hours), Jim Horgan (Plugd), Albert Twomey (Penske Recordings) hosted by Quarter Block Party’s Aisling O’Riordan and Vinyl Love founder himself, Stevie G who were also kind enough to ask me to play some tunes. The fun in Cork kicks off at 12pm until late-ish.
