Cork Gig Guide: 2nd-8th February 2016

This week in Cork: Quarter Block Party takeover.
From the brooding baritone of Chicagoan Daniel Knox‘s Americana to the subtle swoop of Reykjavik’s jófríður folk, Quarter Block Party returns with an added international spice in 2016. Bitch Falcon, Rozi Plain, The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock, Damsel are just a handful of the talented names on offer across dozens of venues from Friday to Sunday. They’ve even asked me to curate a stage which I am incredibly excited about! (see the details in the image above). So I guess I’ll see you on the block! For the full list of Quarter Block Party 2016 events see the timetable.
Also going down around town this week:
- Ger Wolfe & The New Skylarks in L’Atitude 51(Thursday)
- Rozi Plain in Levis’ (Ballydehob) (Monday)
