Sunday’s for songs, secret songs…

Sunday’s are for lazing about, cuddling the couch and generally wasting up space and time. Ah phooey! Instead, make your way west to Levis’ Cornerhouse for Secret Song Sunday, a one-day festival filling the family Ballydehob bar with 15 Irish and international acts. The secret? The line-up is kept under wraps until you cross the county Cork pub’s threshold on the day. Tickets are €30 and the fun starts from 3pm. Not sure what to expect from the music? Well it’s all curated by Levis’ owner Joe O’Leary, formerly of Cork’s kings of intelligent pop, Fred so the man knows a thing or two as can be witnessed in the beautiful performance with Rachel Ries below.
