New: The River Fane
New EP from The River Fane runs deep…
It’s always an added sweetener when a good new release arrives from your home town, which is the case with Wexford-founded alt-folk foursome The River Fane‘s latest EP. Ah Here is a collection of five songs that see the group graduate from the more exploratory and experimental offerings of previous releases EP1 and EP2, with the tracks on Ah Here far more focused than what had been heard before. Having originally come together in 2009, it goes to show how important time is when it comes to a band finding their feet. With the initial EPs it was obvious that exciting times lay in store for the band. The new EP is proof that the good times are here now for Derren Dempsey, Johnny Fox, Neil Paltridge and Oisin Trench.
