Weekly Cork Gig Guide: 10th-16th February 2015
This week in Cork: Anna Mitchell launches her début, The Henry Girls, Wyvern Lingo and more.
Cork pianist and songwriter Anna Mitchell unveils her new record Down To The Bone with the help of friends upstairs in The Oliver Plunkett on Thursday evening. For further details on the record see recent blog post here. Elsewhere around town, The Henry Girls play a trio of dates around the county including a Wednesday night show in Coughlan’s while the following evening sees the Douglas Street venue welcome Wyvern Lingo on the Thursday. Strangely, Saturday seems to be very quiet. Post-Quarter Block Party blues maybe.
Also going down around town this week:
- Paula Gomez in Crowleys Musician Centre (Oliver Plunket upstairs) (Wednesday)
