It’s a Macroom with a view this weekend as a new MDR-hosted songwriter session welcomes two terrific talents to County Cork courtesy of Katie Kim and Joan Shelley on Saturday evening. For a full breakdown on the Briery Gap gigs click here.
For those sticking about the city, then local record store heroes Plugd Records host an electro-charged double bill of techno titan Lumigraph and San Francisco psych-queen Group Rhoda in Gulpd (Friday) and Triskel TDC (Saturday) respectively. Patrick “Chilly Hands” Kelleher guests on the Saturday.
Elsewhere, Cleveland indie critters Cloud Nothings are in Cyprus Avenue on Friday night with the Dylan Baldi-led threesome currently in Europe touring their fourth long-player Here and Nowhere Else
