The sunny south-east has built up a reputation in recent times for producing quality folk singers but dreampop? Not so much. Forward centre dream-pop dudes Frankenstein Bolts. The brainchild of Justin Cullen, the Wexford collective reference a lot of 90’s shoegaze and lo-fi rock as influences which both blends and contrasts nicely with the folkie roots that sprout through cracks here and there on the recordings.
