This week in Cork: House of Cosy Cushions, Twin Lights, Simone Felice and more..

House of Cosy Cushions and Twin Lights combine for a crackling night of electronic compositions and swirling soundscapes on Castle Street. Tickets for the second The G-Man Presents… show of 2014 are available from www.eventbrite.ie. Eldest Felice Brother Simone returns to Cork for a show in the cosiest of award-winning venues Coughlan’s of Douglas Street on Monday evening whilst the folk-friendly weekend is bookended on the other side by I Draw Slow in Triskel Christchurch on Friday.

Saturday throws up the usual clash-aches but those out early can make one of The Great Balloon Race in Cork Community Print Shop or the double bill of Land Lovers and windings in The Crane Lane Theatre. Both start early so should be winding (oh!) up before you hightail it across the city to The Roundy of course.
