Festival news: Indiependence ’14
Public Enemy, White Lies and more for Mitchelstown meet-up…
Indiependence have set free the first names set to visit Mitchelstown in August with the big ‘uns being Public Enemy, White Lies and Tom Odell. 2013 saw De La Soul, Bastille and Bosnian Rainbows arrive on Deer Farm with the Cork festival showcasing the same broad range in 2014 by announcing another diverse bag of tricks for the August bank holiday weekend session.
Confirmed bands/artists for 2014 that particularly pickle* my fancy include a rare outing from Cork legends The Sultans of Ping, Cavan song-queen Lisa O’Neill and soon-to-be-granted-Corkonian-status Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip. For the full initial announcement see below.
