Chilltronica threesome Cymbals arrive in Cork this weekend for a Saturday night date on Caroline Street with a show in Cyprus Avenue. Fans or new converts should expect lots of new material with Age of Fracture only released last week.

For something a little different earlier in the week, unlikely jazz duo The Little Radio bring their seemingly incongruous combination of tenor sax and box-accordion to Triskel Christchurch Tuesday night. Renowned for an electric repertoire ranging from Whitney Houston to jazz standards, the talented twosome simply love playing and bring a touch of humour to what can sometimes be stickled as a very “serious” genre.
