On tour: Lanterns on the Lake

Lanterns to light up Liffey…

Geordie dreamsters Lanterns on the Lake return to Ireland this Easter with a number of date announced, including a return to The Workman’s Club, their second visit to the capital’s Wellington Quay venue in recent times, on 9th April and a trip down south to The Pavillion, Cork. Latest record Until the Colours Run arrived courtesy of Rough Trade at the tail-end of 2013 but the Newcastle quintet first whispered seductively in my ear with the release of Gracious Tide, Take Me Home in 2011 and I’ve been lucky to catch them live across the pond in the UK a few times since. Fans of whimsical indie-pop take note.
