Weekly Cork Gig Guide: 2nd-8th December
PINS (Wednesday) |
This week in Cork: PINS, Josh Ritter, Ewa Gigon and more…
Best stick a pin in this one as Pins pop into The Pavilion for their first Cork visit. Signalling the beginning of a four-date Irish tour, the Mancunian foursome’s Leeside début is the highlight of the week following an impressive showing when I caught them at End of the Road back in September. Having released dark garage gem Girls Like Us on their own Haus of PINS label earlier in the year, the quartet have been forging Irish connections with September Girls also releasing a cassette on the Haus of PINS label. Cork foursome The Careers (check out their new, free-to-download EP Atomic Cosmosaurus over on bandcamp) support on Wednesday evening.
