Click here to enter) while this week there’s an opportunity to poach a couple of tick-lets for Danish threesome Efterklang who return to Cork Opera House on the Friday of the Cork Jazz Festival.
If brilliant could become boring then Efterklang teeter perilously over the vast abyss of beige-shaded doom. Thankfully, brilliant just keeps on being brilliant, maybe with the odd upgrade to wondrous on occasion. Electro-folk brothers-in-arms Casper, Mads and Rasmus have made quite an impression on the people of Cork in recent times with visits to Cyprus Avenue, The Savoy, and the Cork Opera House itself some of the best shows witnessed in all my time on Leeside. It’s likely then that the evening of the 25th will be no different.
