New album: La Luz
La Luz lighten the Winter skies…
Seattle surf-pop sirens La Luz recently released début full length It’s Alive on Hardly Art Records* with the follow-up to promising 2012 EP Damp Face a modern day doo-wop diamond. The jangly foursome (comprised of Shana Cleveland on guitar, Alice Sandahl on keyboard, Marian Li Pino on sticks and Abbey Blackwell on bass) flaunt fuzzy retro rock that would slip seamlessly into a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack and are my crush of the month.
