The weekend awaits…
The dust is finally starting to settle on a hectic festival period as the leaves change their clothes and the sunshine becomes a mythic thing of the past for another 9 months. Two of Leeside’s brightest – and newest – stars in these southern skies both take to the stage this weekend with The Vincent(s) (Saturday) and Saint Yorda (Sunday) playing The Pavilion and Triskel TDC respectively. Both have also been announced recently to play Dublin’s annual Hard Working Class Heroes showcase so take the opportunity to see both on their home turf before they head north in October.
Also going down around town this week:
- The KC Sessions return to The Crane Lane Theatre for their monthly showcase of unsigned talent (Monday)
- Irish songwriter Mark Geary in an intimate Coughlan’s show (Wednesday)
- The master multi-tasker Donal Dineen runs through the history of dance in The Pavilion Bar (Friday)
- Tinnitus time take #1 on Friday as Brains and Livefastdie play Bradley’s of Barrack Street (Friday)
- Tinnitus time take #2 on Saturday as War Iron, Hands Up Who Wants To Die, Cat Piss Brain Rot, Hands Up Who Wants To Die and B.O.B. i.e. some of the best named bands in rock, play Bradley’s of Barrack Street (Saturday)
