The Harvest Moon rises…

Schull’s Harvest Moon festival returns for another weekend of west Cork fun-times in what is another relatively quiet week on Leeside. Featuring retro-popsters Dott (who of course is led by Schull native Anna McCarthy) feature and for more details on the festival in general take a gander here.

• A quick return to Phoenix Street for barnstorming Virginian string band The Hackensaw Boys (Wednesday)
• Corkonian grunge rockers This Place Is Death launch their mini-album Low Light in Bradley’s of Barrack Street (Friday)
• Hardcore harbingers Harboured in Fred Zeppelin’s (Friday)
• Folk courtesy of Waterford as In The Willows visit Coughlan’s (Saturday)
• Irish sweetheart Maria Doyle Kennedy and Heathers down in The Grain Store, Ballymaloe (Sunday)
