Joanne Gruesome are my new favourite band. Equally butter-wouldn’t-melt and razor sharp incisors, this gruesome Cardiff fivesome have made my Monday with Weird Sister, the noisy Welsh lot’s first full-length release on Fortuna POP!. ‘Secret Surprise’, the album’s stand-out track, exhibits the band’s multiple-personality disorder perfectly.
