Well that was pretty darn special…
As you can probably work out for yourself, here are some photos from Friday night’s show which took place in Cork’s Half Moon Theatre. A huge thanks to everyone who turned out and hopefully enjoyed the night, to all those who helped spread the word, all the staff over at the Half Moon Theatre for helping to put the whole thing together, Pretty Handsome Studio for another wonderful poster design, Plugd Records (and later that evening Gulpd!) for their usual behind-the-scenes brilliance, Cathal from The Altered Hours‘ for the loan of his lovely amplifier, Nikita from Paper & Iron Booking, Pete Skinny Wolves for his navigating excellence, the amazing SD for so much it’s bordering on ridiculous and of course Angel Olsen and Cal Folger Day for illuminating what had previously been a bit of a murky Friday evening in Cork.
If you are new to either Angel Olsen or Cal Folger Day then waste no time grabbing yourself a copy of Half Way Home or Ep. Drom-d’reau using the links at the bottom of this post. More comments to come but for now, take a looksy at the shots below as supplied by the lens legend that is Simone Della Fornace.
