Fractured Air present Mountains in Cork

Fractured Air making Mountains out of molehills… 

The most welcome kind of course. Brooklyn-based dream-scapists Mountains are bringing their beautiful blend of organic acoustic and sonically scented sounds to Cork. With new record Centralia released earlier in the year, Koen Holtkamp and Brendon Anderegg will play the intimate confines of the creative space that is The Black Mariah which is to be found amongst the upper echelons of the Triskel with a second Irish date planned for Dublin’s Twisted Pepper on May 9th. If my digits and widgets are correct, this will be the first show presented by Fractured Air, the visually stunningCork-based music blog (check out the magnificent poster below to see what I mean), and boy are they off to a good start with the Thrill Jockey duo’s confirmation. Unsurprisingly, the heartbeat of the Cork musical community Plugd Records is involved here too, co-promoting the show on May 8th.
