Coast to Coast: Tea and Toast 2013

Mmm, buttery toast…

Our capital-based blogger pals Goldenplec are on the move at the end of the month as part of a fantastic idea that will again help raise money for Down Syndrome Ireland. Coast to Coast: Tea and Toast will see the GP team leave Dublin for Galway on Good Friday (29th March), stopping off in each county for a cuppa’ tea, a bitta’ toast and an auld tune with several bands along the way, then repeating the journey in reverse to finish with a flourish in Whelan’s on the 30th. The Wexford Street whup-up will include sets from Elaine Mai, Shadowplay, The Dirty 9s and more with everyone involved taking to the Whelan’s stage in aid of a great cause with tickets (priced at €10) available from ticketfriend.com. Tea, toast, great music – what’s not to like?!
