Festival News: End of the Road second announcement
David for Dorset…
Having already announced a stellar line-up that includes Sigur Ros, Belle & Sebastian and Damien Jurado and Angel Olsen, End of the Road have confirmed a real coup for the 2013 edition of their Larmer Tree Gardens-based festival with David Byrne and St. Vincent revealed as the third headliners for September. The legendary Talking Heads visionary teamed up with Annie Clark for last year’s Love This Giant so expect material from the 4AD release to dominate the setlist but TH classics such as ‘Burning Down The House’, ‘This Must Be The Place’ and ‘Road Nowhere’ have made appearances at recent shows (such as in Nashville).
Other confirmations include those effervescent Efterklang sprites, new age country queen Caitlin Rose, recent Whelan’s visitor Matthew E. White and more.
