The Cork Music Show was only thrilled to welcome back folkariffic foursome The Mandolas as guests for the second time in the new Cork City Community Radio studios, located in Douglas Shopping Centre.
Colm, Michael, Dorian and Paddy – promoting their new single ‘Marianne’ – were only too eager to select a trio of tracks from their favourite Cork bands which turned out to be John Blek & The Rats, The Hard Ground and Lamp who have all appeared on the show in some shape or form in the past 12 months. A huge promotional push has seen the folk-loving trad quartet climb to #44 in the iTune charts at the time we go to post so click here to download the track and help get the guys into the top 20. Fortunately for us, we were also treated to a heavenly version of ‘Be You Not Afraid’ which can be streamed below.
