Dublin-born author and creator of one the most feared characters in literature, Bram Stoker, would be 165 today.
His toothy tales of a noble lord turned to the dark side, acquiring a fiendish fetish for the blood of locals, tourists and the odd virgin have struck fear into the hearts of men and women alike since the middle of the 19th century. In respect for the man (who would have thought the goth lifestyle would originate in Clontarf) and his demonic deviant, here’s a track/video with a title that sums up his Transylvanian tyrant perfectly.
