Cork Jazz Festival Special: Saturday line-up

Beach House – Opera House on Saturday

If Beach House are jazz then I am a monkey’s uncle…and this primate’s relative is nothing short of delighted the Baltimore dream-pop duo can make it to Cork on Saturday, be it under an umbrella (and if other years are to go by one will most certainly be required this weekend) of jazzy-palmed delusion or whatever excuse was needed to get them down south.

Recent years have seen the Cork Jazz Festival diversify greatly; Rock, dance, americana, folk – you name it and the genre can be found in one of the many venues involved this year. Jazz, of course, remains the centre of attention for the weekend. See what’s happening on the Saturday below.
