Elastic Witch turns the big 1
‘Tis tough times indeed for music sales so when news filtered down from the capital over a year ago that a new independent record store was set to swing open its vinyl-coated doors it was greeted with tentative optimism. Despite all the economical odds, the Twisted Pepper-based Elastic Witch has survived choppy waters and will at least see out a first anniversary thanks to the skilful navigation of capable captain Gib Cassidy.
To celebrate this sizeable achievement, Gib and co. are throwing a bit of a hoo hah this Saturday with day festivities free to all (with kiddies welcome) and night-time shenanigans ticketed at a cost of just €8. Big congrats to Gib and Elastic Witch which has quickly become a mandatory stop-off site on my regular ventures northwards.
