Another majestically shot Myles O’Reilly film, entitled ‘The Wake of Donal Dineen and Small Hours’, the mood caught in the six minute video is equal parts disbelief, devastation and defiance capturing the final moments of Donal Dineen‘s Small Hours – such a consistent champion of Irish independent music – 15 years on National Radio. The music of one such thoroughly deserving artist, Katie Kim, backdrops O’Reilly‘s work beautifully.
