Quite a number of stupendous acts have just been confirmed for August/September’s Electric Picnic which already featured a pretty good line-up with Sigur Ros, The Cure, The Roots, Alabama Shakes, The xx, Orbital and more announced in Spring.
Grimes made more than a few new friends during her recent Forbidden Fruit performance and will return to the emerald isle to complete a festival bookend double by appearing at EP12. Explosions In the Sky are swift to amend for their Button Factory cancellation by returning to the Stradbally Session for a second year while G-Man favourites The Staves are always welcome back. Come to think of it, the below is quite a tasty announcement indeed with Paul Buchanan, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Antlers and Patrick Watson all must-sees.
