Capital Capers and Elsewhere Escapades (June 20th-June 26th)
Little Green Cars – Whelan’s, Sunday |
Fresh from disarming all souls inside that little cramped tent at Forbidden Fruit earlier this month, Dublin’s Little Green Cars return to a more snuggly Whelan’s as part of the Sounds of Summer mini-festival taking place all this weekend. Click here to read last year’s G-Man interview with Little Green Cars.
Thanks to Elastic Witch, the Twisted Pepper houses the colossus that is No Spill Blood on Saturday night. Made up of (former in some cases) members of Adebsi Shank, Hooray For Humans and Crayonsmith NSB are a bit of a supergroup with their heady talents on show last March as they took to the Triskel. I seriously could not recommend to see them more. The BBC agree – click here to see why. Britpop survivors Gomez then kick off the new week with an appearance in The Academy. Always a soft spot for Gomez yup…
