Festival News: Cork Midsummer Festival
The programme for this year’s Cork Midsummer Festival was announced earlier today with an extremely exciting event confirmed for Triskel Christchurch at the end of June.
Bowerbird, “an exploration of the folk tradition in 2012”, will assemble an awesome cast of talent over two days including Sam Amidon, Bill Wells & Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton. Tickets are priced at €20 per night or €35 for both and are available from the Cork Midsummer festival box office.
Music of course makes up only a small part of the festival which includes theatre, dance, opera, art and more. For a glimpse of the full programme see the official site here.
