The Altered Hours return to these green shores all pepped up on whatever those German folk fed them during their brief stay in Berlin.

Quite an extensive Irish tour is nicely arranged for Summer 2012 kicking off with a date in Cork tonight – as featured on the weekly preview here – before heading to the big smoke for a midnight show in Whelan’s on Friday.

Psychadelic rocker EP Downstream – the quintet’s debut release – was one of, if not the best recordings to see the light of day on Leeside in 2011 so, after a bit of a regroup, it is great to see Cathal, Elaine and co. take the Irish live music scene head on this Summer.
