New: The Icons of Andria

You may remember the dreamy glo-fi indie excellence of California’s Familiar Trees from last year (see here). The golden state duo are back – with the aid of The Year Zero‘s Rodney Sellars – with a new project that intends to bring the genre of “sci-fi ambient” to the masses.

Icons of Andria is a studio collaboration between the three artists based on an original science fiction concept by Sellars himself, sharing vocals on the recordings with Sanchez.

Currently the ethereal ‘The Universal Way’ is available to stream and download (for free) via soundcloud with Sellars promising to colour the above image once the track reaches 300 tracks (which it just has).
