Southern Gothic 2012
There will be a far more detailed post on this year’s Southern Gothic festival which takes place across the May bank holiday weekend but for now here is a quick update.
The line-up for Bandicoot Promotions “weekend of blues, country, krautrock, stoner rock, electro, cajun, psych-folk, honkey tonk, anti-folk and punk gospel currently stands as :

- Hanin Elias (ex Atari Teenage Riot)
- Gemma Ray & Band
- Hans Chew (duo)
- Hush Arbors
- Arbouretum
- Jeffrey Lewis (solo)
- Bayou Seco
- Charlie Parr
- Reverend Beatman
If any of the above are – and I am pretty sure they will be – as good as Josh T. Pearson‘s afternoon appearance in 2011, in my eyes, the whole event will be considered a success.
